Did you know that you can search many historical records that Department of Fish and Wildlife has online? There is an amazing amount of documents available for download. Most from an era that preceded many of us. Of interest to our group – you can find many kokanee related files.
Head over to: https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/documents/docviewer.aspx#
And in the search field, put in keyword to search on – in this example ‘kokanee’ resulted in 376 documents, some going back to the 1950’s and possibly earlier. Take advantage of this resource – it's there for you to use; you pay for it as a tax payer!
